Overview
Youcare 2-Fc is a Convex Faceplate / Skin Barrier for the Youcare 2-Piece Ostomy System, manufactured by ALCARE Co., Ltd., Japan. It is designed for patients with a digestive stoma and is particularly suitable for flat, low-profile or retracted stomas. The faceplate incorporates a natural-material-based skin barrier containing Karaya Gum and Citrus Pectin. Tape around the faceplate helps prevent the skin barrier from dissolving around its edges during bathing. Youcare 2-Fc is available in several sizes to accommodate different stoma diameters and is designed for use with compatible Youcare 2 ostomy pouches.
