Overview

LEON plus is an advanced anesthesia workstation and anesthesia ventilator from Löwenstein Medical, designed for use in operating rooms and for providing controlled mechanical ventilation during anesthesia. The system combines a complete anesthesia workstation with a powerful ventilator and a modern user interface, enabling precise management of anesthetic gases and patient ventilation. LEON plus is designed for adult and pediatric patients and provides a range of ventilation modes to meet different clinical requirements. Its modular design allows the workstation to be configured with additional options such as gas monitoring, anesthetic gas scavenging, CO₂ monitoring and respiratory parameter monitoring. With its dedicated NEO Mode, LEON plus enables precise ventilation of neonatal patients using very low tidal volumes. Tidal Volume Guarantee (VTG), precise pressure and volume control, sensitive triggering, compliance compensation and a heated breathing system make LEON plus suitable for neonatal and pediatric anesthesia and ventilation in the operating room.
