Overview
Leonsorb Plus is a high-capacity disposable CO₂ absorber developed by Löwenstein Medical for the LEON family of anesthesia workstations. It is particularly suitable for low-flow and minimal-flow anesthesia. With a volume of 1.15 kg, Leonsorb Plus has demonstrated an absorption capacity of more than 150 liters of CO₂ before a 0.5% CO₂ breakthrough occurs. Its approximately 15.5% moisture content helps prevent the soda lime from drying during operation. The absorber's optimized geometry reduces reaction time and maximizes the utilization of the soda lime, providing high CO₂ absorption performance and potential cost savings.
