Overview
Multi Fix-Pad®, manufactured by ALCARE Co., Ltd., Japan, is a semipermeable and waterproof film dressing with an integrated absorbent pad, designed for wound coverage, protection and absorption of wound exudate. The flexible support film enables application with fewer wrinkles and helps protect against moisture and external contamination. The absorbent pad is covered with a non-adherent polyethylene net to help prevent the pad from sticking to the wound surface. The transparent adhesive area allows observation of absorbed exudate.
