Overview

LEONI 4 is the premium-class neonatal ventilator from Löwenstein Medical, designed for advanced respiratory support in intensive care. Building on more than 30 years of experience in neonatal ventilation, particularly in the treatment of premature infants and the most sensitive lungs, LEONI 4 provides precise, reliable and patient-oriented ventilation. The device supports both invasive and non-invasive ventilation and is suitable for preterm infants, newborns, term infants and children with a body weight of up to 30 kg. LEONI 4 features Instant View Technology and a 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen, providing a clear overview of ventilation parameters, curves and loops and enabling rapid recognition of patient conditions and measurement deviations. With applicable tidal volumes starting as low as 0.1 ml, LEONI 4 is designed to provide precise ventilation even for extremely small premature infants. The ventilator also provides High-Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV/HFO) based on an integrated double-diaphragm principle. Spontaneous breathing under HFO is possible, while optional Volume Guarantee and Volume Limitation functions provide additional control of delivered tidal volume.
