Overview

ropimex® ropitex BIOACTIVE is a new-generation privacy curtain fabric specially developed for hospitals, healthcare facilities, nursing homes and other environments where hygiene, privacy and fire safety are essential. The curtain is made of 100% Bioactive polyester fibre and provides permanent antibacterial and antiviral properties. These properties, together with permanent flame retardancy and acoustic performance, make ropitex BIOACTIVE an ideal solution for healthcare privacy screens and room separation.

    ropitex BIOACTIVE meets several international fire protection classifications: M1 – NF P 92 503-504-505 B1 – DIN 4102, Part 1 UNI 8456 / UNI 9174 – Italy PASS IMO – FTP Code (2010) The flame-retardant, antibacterial and antiviral properties are permanently anchored in the molecular structure of the fibre.

  • Acoustic Properties

    ropitex BIOACTIVE also provides acoustic absorption properties, making it suitable for healthcare areas where reducing reverberation and improving acoustic comfort are desirable. Acoustic absorption: ASTM C423 Acoustic rating: 0.72 – NRC According to EN ISO 354
